I have decided to do a short interview email to a very good friend of mine,Dulce. Dulce and i met a while back when i was still in High School. I attended her youth group ministry in which she was a youth minister I knew she was in ASU but i did not really know what she was majoring or anything. Just a recent years ago in 2007 she graduated with a major in Politcal Science and Mathematics. I have really admired her not just due to her spirituality but her hard work and professionalism. She has been in very prestigious interns such as interning for the Senator Janet Napolitano as well as working with legislature and representatives such as Ed Pastor, Congressman Gutierrez,Congressman Grijalva. She is now pursuing her JD from ASU-Law. She tells me that she has loved the experience that she has had although it has been difficult and challenging. She feels that she has meet wonderful people of all sorts of backgrounds. As a law student she has still focused her energy in overachieving all obstacles set on her. It is typical that she has been told or scared off to go to law school but her support of her parents and friends have made her continue her work. Not only is she a scholar and has been awarded various scholarships already for the next semesters but issues of inequalities have not surge up yet and she believes they wont.
I continue to admire this women in this particular non traditional area of study. Not only has she overcome barriers but she has ultimate shown that hard work and dedication go beyond feeling victimized instead with her hard work she has achieved many great things and i am certain that she will become one of those influential womens in Arizona.
